	Raw Material Quality All of our raw materials are thoroughly tested both before and after the mining process.Two different base raw materials, from widely separated tracts of land owned by the Company in Brunswick County, are blended to create the perfect combination of strength and workability.

	Manufacturing Excellence Lawrenceville Brick are manufactured in our two modern plants and fired with natural gas, to provide the best possible quality and consistency. All fired brick are inspected and graded by hand to assure the elimination of virtually all brick that do not meet our high standards before the packaging process.

	Quality Control Brick from a sample cube of each daily brick run are placed in our quality control test rack and compared both with a control panel of that particular product and with a similar panel from each day of the production run. This assures us that the customer will receive the color and texture that he or she expects and prevents shipments of runs that are not consistent with samples of the particular style. At the same time that the aesthetic qualities of the brick are checked at the control rack, size and absorption properties are tested in our laboratory. This assures us that the run of brick complies with applicable ASTM standards. It guarantees the mason a brick which, when laid in the wall with mortar, activates the hydration process at optimal rate to create the strongest, most weather resistant masonry wall possible.
